This server is located in Europe (Germany).

Getting Started

To join the fighting on our server :

   1) install Quake III Arena

   2) install the latest pointrelease for Quake 3, make sure to install PunkBuster when asked

   3) install the newest version of the mods you want to play (see the links in the servers section)

   4) get additional maps if required (see the maps section)

   5) fire up q3a and join the server

Maps

Most maps rotated on the servers come with either quake 3 or the mod with which they are used. Please read on for exceptions.


In private sessions or to beta test our maps, clan members with rcon access may choose to load maps not included in the maprotate files that are not included in q3a or the mods. These maps are available in a zipfile and include ztn3dm1, ztn3dm2, ztn3tourney1, spirit3t1 and spirit3t2. Extract the maps and place them into your $quake3/baseq3 directory.

Affects defraggers only :

Our defrag server is running a number of defrag freestyle maps that should be downloaded before joining the server. The zip includes must-have maps like 17++, cos1_beta7b, csu_1a and somethingelse_nofog. Extract the maps and place them into your $quake3/defrag directory.
