INSTALL
========

NOTE: You need rsync to get the game content. Just install the package 'rsync' from your distros repos.
      Under Debian(-based distros) this will do it: sudo apt-get install rsync

* to install, run these commands as a normal user (enter root pw when asked by sudo):
unzip q2w-<version>.zip
cd quake2world
sudo make install
cd /usr/local/share
sudo rsync -avz --delete rsync://satgnu.net/quake2world quake2world

* to get more maps, run these commands as the user you want to play q2w under:
cd ~/
rsync -avz rsync://satgnu.net/quake2world-opt .quake2world
    

PLAY
======

* to play, run the game from your user account:
quake2world

* then, load a map from the in-game console
map aerowalk
